Graphic Designer Role Brief:
We are looking for an in-house designer to become a valued member of our growing team, creating engaging and on-brand design work across a variety of media, working closely with the marketing team and event teams. Design work includes (but is not limited to): social media campaign tiles (static and animated), digital leaflets, guides & brochures, website visuals, onsite signage, html design, presentation graphics and graphics for event communications.
This is an ideal role for a recent graduate to start their career in graphic design or an experienced designer looking for a part-time role. We are based in Langton Green on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells and have parking onsite. We have a relaxed and friendly working environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the marketing team to ascertain requirements, target audience and key messaging.
- Developing creative ideas & concepts and conceptualising visuals using relevant software based on requirements.
- Adhering to brand guidelines for the event and any sponsors/partners featured on the design work.
- Utilising brand assets, event photographs and videos effectively to convey the right message.
- Amending designs following feedback.
- Delivering final layouts in appropriate file types.
- Liaising with third parties, for example consultant designer, printers, photographers, videographers, etc.
- Being a valued contributor to marketing team meetings and proposing design solutions & ideas to fulfil objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes:
- Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair.
- Proven graphic design experience OR relevant degree.
- Ability to translate requirements into design.
- Familiarity with design software and technologies, such as inDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain a design schedule/priority list, adjust it as necessary and work on several projects at one time.
- A genuine team player.
- Friendly, approachable and open to feedback.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
- Proactive and collaborative in nature.
- Strong sense of personal accountability.
- An interest/experience in photography, videography, illustration, creative copywriting and/or AI technology a bonus.
